KINSHIP
These ink on paper drawings are inspired by Donna Haraway’s notion of “kinship” and emerging science on the symbiotic nature of plant, animal, and human relationships. The work references Muybridge’s motion studies of isolated figures from over a century ago. In this case, different animal species are re-connected and combined into mythopoetic forms more appropriate to our current time.
